At any rate, let’s talk about a couple of changes. For the most part, things are looking like they used to. You will, however, notice three links in each post that allow you to post specific comics to your Facebook and Twitter. We need you to spread the word, because it’s really how we draw new readers in, and new readers can only mean good things for everyone involved. Even if it’s an old comic and it makes you chuckle, share it. You might earn us a new reader and we’d owe you our eternal gratitude. And that stuff isn’t cheap.

By now, you might have noticed a few hiccups with the content here at PWBB. Okay, you might have noticed a lot of hiccups. We wish we could tell you these hiccups were due to us working behind the scenes to make a better product for you. But, that’d be a lie. Frankly, we got lazy and complacent. We still wanted to do PWBB, but we lost our motivation. We stopped keeping each other accountable. And our site suffered.

We’re here to say we will be changing this. We still love this comic and we still want to see it succeed. In order to do that, we are making some changes in our routine, to insure that we have three quality comics each week.

Back when we started the comic, we had a buffer of about three weeks. We could insert timely comics inside the buffer, if we so chose. But, if we had nothing to add, we always had comics to fall back on. This is something we’re going to work to recreate. Our ultimate goal is to have new content for you, when you expect it. According to the title bar, that’s every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Starting today, this is a schedule we will adhere to with the utmost conviction.

Another area we think we’ve lacked, as of late, is the quality of our recent comics. When we began, we would get together two or three times a week to work out the actual writing and art of the comic. Recently, though, we haven’t done that. Our comics are hobbled together with Google Images, shoddy writing and phoned in punch-lines. This is something else we’ll be changing. While I can’t guarantee you’re going to find every comic funny (humor is subjective) I can guarantee you will find jokes that are crafted with care and of the highest quality.

Lastly, Chris would like to say that The Monitor by Titus Andronicus is the best freaking punk record to be released in the past year. We’re not sure what that has to do with anything, but Chris has suffered extensive brain damage over his 28 years on this Earth and we like to humor him.

In summary, you can expect great things from PWBB over the next year. We are finding our drive to do this comic again—something we’ve lost over the past six months. Again, while we can’t guarantee that you’re going to find it funny, we can guarantee that you’ll find the best comics we can give you.

They’re just there.

However, I’ve noticed that these ads are popping up all over the site, on multiple pages. As a person who hopes to someday make money off of this site, it is not a good practice to keep showing the same ad over, and over. Eventually, your clientele is going to get sick of it, and leave.

So, I tried to block the site. They’ve had their moment of fame, on the Penguins. However, it turns out, that this site has registered, like, forty-million domains with which to advertise. And the second that you block one, they use a different one to put the same ad on your site.

So, we’re changing from Google Adsense. They’ve disappointed me, in their refusal to get rid of this obvious spam. I’ve started by reducing our ads to texts. New ad boxes will start appearing tonight.
